We offer two main types of installation. First is installation to an existing gas line. In this case, our expert technicians connect the new gas fireplace to the gas line. Our team has the knowledge, tools, and training to safely connect the system.
Second, we offer gas line installation. Our technicians perform the installation. We do not subcontract gas line installation. We hold certifications to run TracPipe and Gas Tite. These are forms of corrugated stainless-steel tubing (CSST) which are the standard for both new build and renovation projects. We also hold ICC N33 National Standard Master gas pipefitter certification.
Goodrich Chimney provides professional installation of gas appliances following all manufacturer specifications. Plus, we file and coordinate with all vendors on warranty claims. Our goal is customer satisfaction and safety.
Many homeowners choose gas fireplaces because of the convenience.
Unlike traditional fireplaces, you don’t have to worry about supplying wood. Also, you avoid smoke, mess, and soot. Instead, you enjoy the ambiance of a fire without the hassle.
Yet, gas fireplaces still require cleaning and maintenance. Schedule an annual safety check which includes cleaning and inspection. The technician inspects the vent system and the gas line to check for gas leaks. Reduce the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning with annual fireplace inspection and cleaning.
Plus, maintaining your system extends the life of your fireplace by removing dirt, dust, and debris. If there’s a problem, you can schedule preventative repairs instead of waiting for the system to stop working.
